Research Integrity and Publishing Ethics Guidelines

Brio Innovative Journal of Novel Research (BIJNR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of research integrity and publishing ethics. We expect all authors, reviewers, editors, and other stakeholders involved in the publication process to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Authorship and Contribution

  • Authorship Criteria: Authors should meet the criteria for authorship based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the work.
  • Corresponding Author: Clearly designate the corresponding author who will handle correspondence, revisions, and inquiries.

2. Originality and Plagiarism

  • Original Work: Submit only original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: Avoid all forms of plagiarism. Properly cite and reference any content from other sources and obtain necessary permissions.

3. Ethical Conduct of Research

  • Research Ethics: Conduct research in accordance with ethical standards, including respect for the rights, dignity, and privacy of individuals and groups involved in the study.
  • Informed Consent: Obtain informed consent from research participants, and ensure confidentiality and anonymity where applicable.

4. Conflict of Interest and Funding

  • Disclosure: Declare any potential conflicts of interest, financial or non-financial, that could influence the research or its interpretation.
  • Funding: Clearly disclose the funding sources and role, if any, of the funders in the research process.

5. Data Integrity and Analysis

  • Data Accuracy: Ensure that data presented in the manuscript is accurate, reliable, and reproducible.
  • Statistical Analysis: Use appropriate statistical methods and provide transparent and accurate reporting of data analysis.

6. Author Responsibilities

  • Manuscript Submission: Submit manuscripts that are well-prepared, follow submission guidelines, and are free of errors.
  • Revision and Cooperation: Responsively address editor and reviewer comments and cooperate with the editorial process.

7. Peer Review Process

  • Objective Review: Participate in the peer review process objectively and constructively, providing feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript and refrain from using information for personal advantage.

8. Editorial Responsibilities

  • Fair and Impartial Decisions: Make decisions based on academic merit, without any bias or discrimination.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Disclose conflicts of interest and delegate the handling of manuscripts in case of conflicts.

9. Publication Ethics Violations

  • Reporting Concerns: Report any suspected ethical violations to the Editor-in-Chief for proper investigation and action.

10. Copyright and Licensing

  • Copyright Transfer: Upon acceptance, authors agree to transfer the copyright of their work to BIJNR.
  • Licensing: Published articles are distributed under a Creative Commons license, allowing proper dissemination of research while maintaining authors’ rights.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in consequences including manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, and reporting to relevant institutions and authorities.
